I love photographing newborns!! I enjoy the creative aspect of coming up with different ideas to make your pictures into something you will cherish forever. The best time to capture sleepy newborn babies is within their first 2 weeks of life. This is when they are at their most innocent time which makes for beautiful pictures.

Newborns are the most flexible and happy when they are well fed and kept warm. I always ask that mothers try to hold off on feeding until right before the session. Making sure that your newborn's needs are met first give me the opportunity to carefully swaddle and position the baby for his or her first photo shoot.

3. When do you photograph newborns?

No, I do not. I shoot all newborn sessions from my home where I maintain a small section dedicated to this type of photography. Shooting at my home gives you access to all available props, floor drops and background drops.

2. Do you have a studio?

Unfortunately, due to the amount of props and equipment I need for every session, I am no longer traveling to homes for Newborn sessions.
